Sarah works primarily with women, children, teens and adolescents who have acted out sexually as well as those who have been sexually victimized. Sarah’s warm and welcoming approach to her clients along with excellent clinical skills and training provide an avenue of healing that is often difficult to find in a confidential, private practice setting.
Sarah is a Level 2 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist and a practitioner of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Play Therapy, including Sand Tray therapy. Play Therapy and Sand Tray therapy are widely and successfully used with children and young adults who are victims of trauma, helping them express themselves non-verbally and with less shame and resistance that traditional talk therapy. Sarah’s training, approach and demeanor bring healing and a supportive environment to her clients, creating healing and resilience.
