Meet Our Team

Dan Gabbert

Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, CSAT, CMAT, LPC, LCPC

I practice a modality called Internal Family Systems. If you have ever thought, “Part of me wants one thing, and part of me wants something else” this is an example of IFS. We all have parts that hold our pain, that want to protect us, that save us in difficult times. Understanding your parts and letting your SELF be in the lead is critical to mental health.

Chris Adams

Licensed Professional Counselor, MSCP, LPC, CSAT

My approach involves working from a sex positive focus, which helps individuals explore healthy sexuality as opposed to pathologizing or shaming their sexual behaviors. I help clients by exploring the underlying parts of Self that are driving compulsive behaviors; developing deeper connection in relationships; and finding ways to heal relationship wounds.

Nicole Hayles

Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, LCPC

Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri and holds a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Webster University. Nicole’s counseling experience includes 5 years at MOCSA working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault as well as youth with problematic sexual behavior.

Michelle McMahon

Pre-Licensed Professional, MSCP, PLPC

While I see clients experiencing a range of issues, a good portion of the work I do focuses on trauma, identity, relationships, and sexuality. We look at the past and the present, and engage with kindness in all parts of our story to experience freedom and wholeness.

Michael Denk

MSCP, PLPC

I specialize in supporting men who resonate with traditional masculine values, offering guidance for those facing challenges like sexual addiction, trauma, anxiety, anger, and relationship issues. My approach is centered on delivering practical solutions and measurable progress, all within a supportive and professional environment.

Zach Sherwood

PLPC, CSAT Candidate

The focus of my work is helping individuals struggling with addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors that have negatively impacted their relationships, well being, and career. These kind of issues often involve tremendous pain, guilt and shame. If this is your experience, finding a professional who can provide safety and acceptance is crucial.

Melissa Mazur

I work with adolescents, adults, and families who struggle with anxiety, life transitions, mood disorders, relationship problems, and trauma. I hold the following certifications: Autism Specialist, Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, and Yoga Calm Youth Instructor.
